South Australia’s award-winning sound-post talent comes together with state of the art technology and Dolby’s stamp of approval in Adelaide Studios’ Dolby Premier 7.1 Mixing Theatre – a unique creative environment for all forms of screen production.
The only Dolby Premier 7.1 certified studio in Australia, and one of just 22 in the world, Adelaide Studios’ sound mixing facilities have been built to the highest industry standards and specifications. Room acoustics, monitoring standards, equipment selection, installation standards, synchronisation accuracy, mixing competence and technical experience have all been measured and evaluated by a Dolby expert as part of the certification process. 5466-348
With the Harrison MPC4-D Film Mixing Console, Avid S6, flexible modular console configurations, Pro Tools HDX2 workstations with a multitude of plugins, and superior monitoring and projection, the theatre has quickly gained a reputation for excellence from producers, directors and sound mixers alike, both locally and internationally.
The Mixing Theatre comes with full-time tech support, and a private lounge for producers.
The Adelaide Studios Mixing Theatre has been specifically designed as a flexible mixing environment. The Harrison MPC4-D mixing console and the Avid S6 can be interchanged so that either can be placed into the centre of the theatre, giving the mixing engineer the preference of working in a Pro Tools environment and / or taking advantage of the powerful features of the Harrison.
