WAUSEON - The Fulton County commissioners Tuesday opened four bids for the 2023 Pavement Marking Program.
The four contractors and their bids were Dura Mark, Inc, of Aurora at $168,146.95; Oglesby Construction of Norwalk at $149,583.06; Griffin Pavement Striping of Fremont, at $135,540.90; and American Roadway of Bowling Green, at $144,621.00.
The project was estimated by the county engineer’s office to cost $139,100.00. The four bids were turned over to the engineer’s office for review.
The commissioners also approved placing an advertisement for bids to rehabilitate bridge H7-2,4 on behalf of the county engineer. The cost is estimated will be $597,000.
It was agreed the commissioners would accept bids until 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
The project to perform a ditch improvement known as 2147 Amboy was also approved. The contractor Wagner Farm Drainage will perform the work for $40,489.92.
